2012 Cyclocross Nationals Madison, WI by Darcy Tiglas

The weather this January in Madison, WI was unusual.  Normally, the ground is covered in snow and the wind is blowing bringing the temperatures into the low to mid-twenties by day.  This year, for Cyclocross Nationals, there was no snow on the ground and the temperatures were in the 30s and 40s during the day.  Cindy Milnick and I participated in the event.

Mead Roubaix 4/10/11 – SM3 – Chris J

By now, most everybody has heard all about the 2011 Mead Roubaix.  a race that seems bound for legend status in colorado race lore.  one of those races where most are happy to just finish (only about half the starters did in many cats), and a select few proved themselves true “hard men” (and women).

Aspen Lodge CX

Was all pre-registered to race on Sunday up at the Aspen Lodge, but my dog had some crazy allergic reaction so I basically wrote off going. However, he appeared to almost suddenly get better so I decided to head up.  I left 1.5 hours before the start.  It took 1.25 hours to get there.  Oh well, I had paid, it was a nice day, so I decided to race anyway.
